Photograms

I enjoyed doing photograms because they were very easy to do, all we had to do was find objects and then use the enlarger to create the picture, the only struggle was picking the exposure time and light.

Enlarger settings: Yellow 55, Magenta 70

The enlarger is pre set to 10 seconds, to turn on the light press the red button. Make sure photography paper is shiny side up.

1st attempt – Flower and two leafs, light for 10 seconds, leafs turned out too dark (too much light exposure)

2nd attempt – Turned down the exposure time to 5 seconds, leafs still came out dark but were more recognisable.

3rd attempt – Half a teddy bear, light for 5 seconds, picture was clear with great exposure.

4th attempt – Flower and four buttons, 5 seconds, two of the buttons came out too dark.

5th attempt – Turned down the exposure light, Flower and four buttons, buttons came out great and had better detail.
